About

LMS (Learning Management System) is a system designed to allow users to access e-learning materials and track their learning progress.
Learners can use the materials to study, while administrators can manage learners' course histories and grades.

The GakuNin LMS, provided by the National Institute of Informatics (NII), began full-scale operation on June 14, 2021,
and as of June 17, 2024, is being used by over 100 institutions. (List of Participating Institutions)

The features of the GakuNin LMS are as follows.

The GakuNin LMS logo combines the images of a fluttering butterfly and a gateway to the future.

The logo embodies the idea of "putting what you learn on GakuNin LMS to good use,
opening the gateway to an unknown future, and taking flight like a butterfly."
