About
An LMS (Learning Management System) is a system designed to allow users to access e-learning materials and track their learning progress.
Learners can use the materials to study, while course administrators can manage learners' course histories and grades.
The GakuNin LMS, provided by the National Institute of Informatics (NII), began full-scale operation on June 14, 2021,
and as of June 17, 2024, is being used by over 100 institutions. (List of Participating Institutions)
The features of the GakuNin LMS are as follows.

- 学術認証フェデレーション「学認(GakuNin）」と連携したオプション機能を機関管理者向けに提供しています。
- 利用機関が作成した教材を登録し、機関限定(自機関のみ、複数機関で共有等、選択可能)で公開できます。
- 合成音声を用いた動画教材を簡単に作成することができます。
- 教材を集約化することで、管理者の手間や時間などのコストが削減できます。
- 教材を組み合わせてカリキュラムを組むことで、計画的な人材育成が可能となります。
