Introduction
NII have been providing Z39.50 Gateway Server from March 2002 by improving the Z39.50 Gateway Server prototype, a union catalog database that we have been offering since June 2001. We will terminate the Z39.50 gateway server by January 23, 2023 and start providing the SRU server from January 31, 2023.
This service authenticates users by IP address. Please read "Terms of Use" before applying for this service and apply in advance.

How to search
Datasets to be searched
The following datasets from NACSIS-CAT are targeted for search.

The "pica.dbn" search parameter can be used.
Use the ID in the URL of the request.
Combinations of IDs allow you to select multiple datasets at the same time. For example, setting "BS" in the "pica.dbn" search parameter will search both BOOK and SERIAL.
Record format
Return MARC21 in xml format.
Character set
The character set is UTF-8 for both requests and returns.
The 880 field descriptive language for MARC21 style returns is as follows:
