NACSIS-CAT SRU Gateway Server Functional Test

NACSIS-CAT SRU Gateway Server is a function to enable external organizations to search and use the NACSIS-CAT via the SRU protocol. The SRU is the successor standard to the Z39.50 Gateway Server.

The National Institute of Informatics has provided the Z39.50 Gateway Server since March 2002. The Z39.50 Gateway Server will cease operation on December 31, 2022, and the Search/Retrieval via URL (SRU) Server, its successor standard, will be provided from January 31, 2023.

The SRU Gateway Server Functional Test for the vendors and participating institutions will begin on Monday, October 31, 2022.

During the test period, applicants will be provided with a connection to the SRU Gateway Server test environment so that they can verify the use of the NACSIS-CAT via the SRU protocol from their own clients.

*To use the SRU protocol, you will need a client with SRU-compatible functions.
